Note: We originally had this call for papers for the 2025 Journal. However, partnering with ATESEA, we put out a special journal on the Israel/Palestine conflict in 2025. Therefore, the original journal has been moved to 2026. Although there are a number of submissions already, there is room for a few select articles more. If you would like to submit an article, please see the guidelines below.

Our Formal Launch
January 7, 2026 was a big day at the Lide-Walker Bible Conference. PBTS Press formally launched and at the same event, we launched the book by Dr. Samdao, our first book. We are excited to see what will grow from this tiny seed, through God’s grace and guidance.

Philippine Journal of Religious Studies
Philippine Journal of Religious Studies was first established in 1995 in Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary. That year, Vol 1, #1 was published, with Vol2. #1 being published in 1996 and Vol 3 #1 in 1997. However, then there was a long hiatus. However, it was recently restarted with Vol 4 in 2024 and Vol 5 in 2025.
